Products and coating materials

There are multiple different wear phenomena, and the impact on vital machine parts is often a combination of several things. For instance, adhesion may act together with corrosion, or erosion together with high operating temperatures. The possibilities are countless.

In order to prevent the impacts in the best possible way a distinction is made between different coating materials which, to a great extent, are based on Fe, Ni or Co. The individual wear situation determines which matrix the coating material should be based on. All three types have a great affinity to other metallic elements, but Ni and Co stand out in a positive way due to their great resistance when the application is exposed to corrosion and/or high operating temperatures.
By adding carbides of variable nature and size, it is possible at the same time to achieve erosion or abrasion resistant properties.
